3 Tips to Level Up Your Healing Game

Here are 3 tips to help you level up your healing game.

1) Make Time to Meditate

One of the biggest obstacles people encounter is learning how to tap into their higher self.

Your higher self already has all the solutions to your problems – you just have to be able to listen to it. Meditation is a key tool to building up that line of communication.

But what is meditation?

There’s lots of ideas out there about what meditation is or isn’t. You’ll hear that it has to be hard, or that you need to sit in some uncomfortable position for hours to gain enlightenment.

Here’s the truth: It can be quick and easy. That’s not to say there isn’t merit to doing long meditations, but they don’t all HAVE to be long.

Meditation is the process of releasing your monkey mind thoughts and connecting to Source. You can gain peace and clarity in 10 min if you really want to.

Here’s a really simple practice: Ask your higher self a question before you start to meditate. Once you’ve finished, listen for the answer.

The first answer that comes though – even if it sounds too simple or too silly – is coming from your higher self. Don’t judge it or second guess it, follow through on it.

The more you do this, the more you’ll build up the muscle memory necessary to build a steady connection of trust to your higher self. The answers will come though faster and become clearer.

2) Shield and Ground Yourself

There’s a TON of bad energy out there. Like, a lot.

Healers, psychics, empaths, etc are all sensitive to the energies around us. That means if we’re not careful, we can pick up some pretty ugly stuff.

There are several ways to protect yourself. One of my favorites is to shield and ground.

I start by picturing a seed of light at my heart, and then spread it out around me to form a bubble. Next, I set the intention that it scrubs out all negativity from my energy field. Then, I strengthen the bubble by putting my personal power into it. I really picture the bubble as becoming safe and secure as it keeps all negative energy out.

I also picture a grounding cable running from the bubble down into the earth. I allow all that no longer serves me to drain out down that cable. I also draw up energy from the earth to support me and keep me strong.

There are also more advanced ways to do these techniques, and as you practice, you’ll be able to add your own personal flare to it.

The end goal is to feel safe and secure as you’re doing energy work, so let your intuition guide you about any steps you need to take to ward out negativity.

3) Trust Your Instincts

There’re tons of different healing styles out there. Some of them will really resonate with you, and others won’t.

If someone is just raving about how great some technique is, but it just doesn’t vibe with you, that’s okay. It may be for you later, or maybe not at all.

There’s no one right or wrong way to do healing. It all comes down to intention.

If someone asks for healing, and your intention is to send them healing, guess what! You just sent them healing.

That said, it is extremely helpful to work with someone who can show you the ropes and teach you more specific ways to send that healing energy. Take the time and find the right teacher. Look for someone who really resonates with you and is a big YES! In your soul.

If you keep doing this, you’ll have many teachers though your life. You’ll build up your knowledge base and learn more and more skills and tools.
