Bryn Biemeck announces her run for the Racine Unified School Board

Being a third generation educator, Bryn has always been passionate about education.  Both her mother and grandmother are retired public school teachers. Teaching and public service are key aspects of Bryn's life.  She currently is a Certified Reinvention Specialist and Life Coach, and focuses on career development.  In addition, Bryn teaches chess in an after school program for first to fifth graders.

Bryn decided to run for School Board for 3 reasons:

    1. Restore Quality in Our Children’s Schools
    2. Reduce the Costs of a Quality Education
    3. Rebuild Relationships with Parents

Bryn understands that if Racine is going to improve opportunities for our next generation and create a workforce for the 21st Century, then we need to invest in our schools and work with the parents of our students.

“Over the last several years, the Racine Unified School District has faced barriers in providing our students with a quality education. Rising costs and growing red tape have prevented our great teachers from giving our children the excellent education that they deserve” Bryn said Monday morning. “I am running for school board because I believe that we can do better; I believe we need to restore quality in our schools, reduce the costs that our education system has on the community, and rebuild Unified’s relationships with the parents in the district.”
